Lois Ruth Clayton

Lois Ruth Clayton, age 77, resident of Coweta departed this life on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was born on August 4, 1943 in Inola, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Fred Duncan and Anna Lee (Philpot) Cruse.  She was raised in Inola, Oklahoma and attended Inola Schools.  In 1972, Lois married the love of her life, Wayne Edward Clayton.  She was a caregiver and worked in several nursing homes.  Lois also worked at Wal-Mart in Coweta as a Jewelry Department Manager until she retired.  She enjoyed fishing, going on trips, and going through animal safaris.
