Lois Jewel Clark

Lois Jewel Clark, age 93, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, departed this life on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lois was born on July 23, 1928 in Spiro, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Marion and Maude (Vaughn) Young.  She attended Coweta Public Schools.  She was a devoted homemaker, who loved caring for her family.  Lois married the love of her life, Jesse H. Clark on December 28, 1948 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, and listening to old country music.

Lois is survived by three children, Danny H. Clark and his wife Sharon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Sharon Jewel Moore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Randy A. Clark and his wife Mary of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her daughter in law, Wanda Clark of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her brother, Fred Young and his wife Verna of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her by her husband, Jesse H. Clark; her parents, Marion and Maude Young; her son, Delbert Clark; and her grandson, Justin.

A memorial service celebrating Lois’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Lois will be laid to rest at Clark Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
