Logan Wayne Jones

June 22, 1999 — December 19, 2024

Logan Wayne Jones parkoured on his grandest path yet, as he finished his course of life on December 19, 2024. Born on a sunny day in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 22, 1999, Logan hit the ground running and never looked back, unless it was to check if his hilarious antics got the crowd going—and they always did.

Logan leaves behind a troupe of loved ones: his mini-me and greatest source of pride, daughter London Elizabeth Brooke Jones, father Clint Wayne Jones, mother Ekko Marie Jones, sister, Lindsey Marie Jones, grandfather Kirkman Marcus Layne, uncle Tim McCrary, aunts, Amanda Reed and Kim McCrary, great aunt Carol Jo Gordon, nephew Jaxson James Jones, and cousins Emily McCrary and Shelly Ray Gordon. His special family friend Christina Griffin and best friend Joey Osborne also survive him, each holding a treasure trove of 'Logan stories' to keep his spirit alive. Those who preceded him in their journey include his brother Matthew Peyton Wayne Jones, his grandmothers Kathy Ann Birge and Rebecca Ellen Frederick, his uncle Wendell Bruce Gordon, and his great uncle David Lee Johnson.

From the halls of Keystone combined school through the 8th grade to the tracks of Mannford High School, Logan displayed a shelf of medals clinked with the weight of his running victories, each one a testament to his determination and fleet-footed prowess. Logan's early years were also spent darting around town, his skinny jeans and long hair a blur as he tackled the urban jungle with skateboard underfoot and parkour dreams in his heart. Logan became a welder by trade, a tinkerer by heart, and a master of all trades by sheer will. Cars, motorcycles, and anything with an engine bowed to his mechanical touch.

His artistic streak shone through in his detailed drawings, where he breathed life into animated characters, superheroes, and ninjas alike. Logan's fascination with origami was more than a pastime; it was a way of leaving a piece of his heart with his loved ones. Christina's collection of roses and London’s collection of stars, crafted by Logan are more than paper—they're reminders of the man who could fold a room into a beautiful sunset with just a wink and a smile.

Logan was a carefree spirit who always enjoyed being outside, riding his bike, driving mini cars, grillin food and chillin, singing and dancing, and listening to music with all his favorite people.

Logan considered his daughter London to be his greatest accomplishment. She was his sidekick, his pride and joy, and he loved her more than life itself.

His legacy is not just in the stories of humor he leaves behind, but in the laughter that continues to echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
