Lisa Dawn Harrell

Lisa Dawn Harrell, age 53, resident of Coweta departed this life on Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. Lisa was born on September 8, 1965 in Tulsa, OK to Don Olen and Norma Louise (Purdom) Shockley. She was a 1984 graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. Lisa married the love of her life, Harold Boyd Harrell on January 12, 1985 in Coweta. She worked at Navico in Tulsa as an Administrative Assistant for 15 years. Lisa enjoyed reading, fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her dog, Thor. Lisa was very family oriented and was known as everyone's mother. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Lisa is survived by her husband of 34 years, Harold Harrell of the home in Coweta, OK; two daughters, Andrea Harrell and fiancé, David Greer of Rogers, AR and Brandi Covington and husband, Creston of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren, Quinn Greer and Logan Covington; one grandchild on the way; two sisters, Lynda Booker of Coweta, OK and Lorie King and husband, Rick of Porter, OK; one brother, Don Shockley of Coweta, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Don Olen and Norma Louise Shockley. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services celebrating Lisa's life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Pastor Jerry Myers officiating. Pallbearers are Creston Covington, David Greer, Jimmy Holmes, Gary Holmes, Steve Whiteley, Kenneth Sewell, Steve Bryan and Chip Geneva.
