Linda Mae Snelson

Linda Mae Snelson, age 68, longtime Coweta resident departed this life on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Linda was born on February 6, 1950 in Oklahoma City, OK to Robert Lewis and Ruby (Staten) Easley. She married the love of her life, Charles Snelson on May 27, 1968 in Coweta, OK. Linda worked at FlightSafety International as a Lead Stock Clerk for 16 years until she retired in 2012. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Snelson of the home in Coweta, OK; one son, Jason Snelson and wife, Stacey of Coweta, OK; two sisters, Jean Ewton and husband, Buck and Cynthia Schneider and husband, Mark; three brothers, Allen Easley, Bobby Easley and wife, Gena and Marvin Easley and companion, Ronni Westmoreland; one sister-in-law, Mary Easley; two grandchildren, Alisha Breazeale and Frederick Brown, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruby Easley and one brother, Louis "Sonny" Easley. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Ina Dilldine officiating.
