Linda Kay Bull

April 27, 1947 — November 9, 2019

Linda Kay (Grisham) Bull, 72, entered her heavenly home on November 9, 2019 after spending her last days surrounded by family and friends. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her health struggles and ultimately gave her peace. Linda was born to the late DeWayne Cortez "Corky" and Mary "Ruth" (Zander) Grisham in Enid, OK on April 27, 1947. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age at Bible Baptist. She accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized when she was 12, but found a deeper relationship with Christ in her early 20s, which became a lifetime journey at Dewey First Christian. She graduated from the Enid High School in 1965 and moved to Bartlesville, OK. She later moved to Stavanger, Norway; Sandnes, Norway back to Bartlesville, OK, then to Ponca City, OK; and finally, to Coweta, OK. Linda was blessed with a large and loving family. She married the love of her life, Willard Earl Bull, on May 1, 1965 in Enid, OK. Linda helped raise her four children to love the Lord. She taught them to love unconditionally and put that love into action. She was known to collect children and grandchildren and had many surrogate family members as well as biological. Linda enjoyed making porcelain dolls, learning new arts and crafts, camping, traveling, helping others, sharing her faith, and playing card games. Her family knew her as the "Hostess with the Mostess" as she loved to cook and entertain. If she knew you were going to visit, she would prepare your favorite meal ready to receive you. Everyone was always welcome at her table. Linda loved children. She babysat in her home for many years, taught 2-3-year-old Sunday school, was a cub scout den leader, a girl scout brownie leader, and a youth group sponsor. She was her children and grandchildren's biggest sports fan and could often be heard loud and clear in the stands. She loved OU football and planned her weekends around the games. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Her favorite bible verse was "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2. We are confident that she is in her mansion. Linda is survived by her husband, Willard Bull of Coweta, OK; her daughter Tamra (Dennis) Burr of Gainesville, TX; her sons Ron (Meriam) Bull of Knoxville, TN and Tracy (Shannon) Bull of Coweta, OK; her grandchildren Amanda (Ryan) Arp, Matthew (Megan) Burr, Edward Lutsko, Amy Burr, Austin (Cheyanne) Bull, Emily (Anthony) McDaneld, Tyler Bull, Kathryn Burr, Cameron Bull and Aiden Bull; six great grandchildren; and her siblings-in-law Phyllis Bull, John & Lavina Bull, and Charles & Marilyn Bull, all to whom she was very close. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lora Caldwell; her parents; and her only sibling, Mary Lyman. Linda's visitation will be at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, OK from noon - 2 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019. Her funeral will begin at 2 p.m. with her interment directly following at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta.
