Lillian F. Denton, age 94, of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 in Broken Arrow, OK. Lillian was born on September 26, 1923 to Pleasant Fortner and Mollie Dee (Floyd) Fortner. She married Howard Denton on October 10, 1940 in Reno, NV. She attended school in Thornton, CA. Lillian was a homemaker for most of her life. Lillian was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK. She enjoyed working in the garden and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Denton, her parents, Pleasant and Mollie Dee Fortner and 1 son, Doyle Denton. Lillian is survived by 2 grandchildren, Doug Denton and wife, Dixie of Haslet, TX and Tina Still and husband, Scott of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Sarah Denton and Seth Denton; 1 daughter-in-law, Shirley Denton of Coweta, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
