Ms. Lilia Mae Hunt was born February 11, 1962, the youngest of several children born to Deacon Horace Scott Hunt Sr. and Hattie Lee Hunt. She was a native of Red Bird, Oklahoma, but later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she departed this life January 29, 2018. Lilia, a firm believer in Christ, was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church of Red Bird, Oklahoma. She graduated from Porter High School in Porter, Oklahoma. Several relatives left to cherish her memories include: daughter, Lashana Rena Hunt; two grandchildren, Davionna and Desmond; siblings, Alice Faye Freeman, Alberta Townsell, Leroy Hunt, Alfred Lloyd Curry, Shirley Ali, Jo Etta Lanier, Gwendolyn Lorraine Hunt, Vanessa Joyce Paul, Carol Hunt, Horace Scott Hunt Jr., Brian Hunt, and their husbands and wives, respectfully. Lilia also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Hunt will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Red Bird, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Red Bird Cemetery in Red Bird, Oklahoma.
