Leon William Miller

Leon William Miller, age 61, longtime resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Leon was born on March 18, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Leon Miller and Lucille Eleanore (Perski) Miller.  He worked for Tulsa Auto Spring Company for 12 years until his health prevented him from working anymore.  He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.  Leon never met a stranger and loved talking with everyone.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, William Leon and Lucille Eleanore Miller and his sister, Sheri Chalakee.

Leon is survived by his wife, Jan Miller of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; his sister, Melissa Harris and her husband Robert of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his son, William Miller; his daughters, Jo Chancellor and Dallis Alexander; and numerous nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Leon’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Ed Rutherford officiating.  Leon will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Timothy Templeton, Dillon Kilgore, Jake Miller, Barry Rame, Chip Geneva, and Shawn Walker.  Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Helton, Chris Helton, and Wade Miller.
