Leo M. Stacy, age 90, long-time Coweta resident went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday afternoon, May 25, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital in Broken Arrow, OK. Leo was born on November 7, 1927 to Arvil Stacy and Lottie (Eden) Wilson in Wagoner, OK. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Leo enlisted in the Army on September 28, 1950 and was honorably discharged on August 30, 1952. He and Annalene Watkins were married on March 7, 1951 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK. Leo worked at Tulsa Winch for many years until he retired in 1974. After retiring, he was a farmer. Leo was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Coweta, OK. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Leo is survived by his wife of 67 years, Annalene Stacy of the home in Coweta, OK; 2 sons, Jimmy Stacy and wife, Sheila of Tulsa, OK and Bobby Stacy of Coweta, OK; 2 daughters, Janie Fox and husband, Mike of Northport, FL and Lawanna Bentley of Youngsville, NC; 1 brother, Cecil Wilson of Coweta, OK; 3 sisters, Opal Matthews of Oracle, AZ, Edna Reeves of Cleveland, OK and Betty Matlock of Broken Arrow, OK; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Arvil Stacy and Lottie Wilson, 1 brother, Virgil Stacy and 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Kennedy. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Leo's life will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Pastor Greg Meadows and Pastor Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Vernon Stacy, Kenneth Stacy, Lonnie Matthews, Cecil Wilson, Jr., Clayton Wilson and Clint Wilson.
