Lenore Coombes

August 11, 2011 Lenore "Lynn" Coombes was born on July 15, 1959 to Bob and Roberta (Drake) Delp in Concord, CA. The family relocated back to Vinita in 1962 when Lynn was age 3. After a courageous battle with cancer she was taken to Heaven on June 4, 2010 at age 50. After graduating from Vinita High School in 1977, Lynn married Marty W. Coombes on August 5. Lynn and Marty were blessed with 2 children: Bradley in 1982 who preceeded her in death in 2004; and Rachel, born in 1984 and currently residing in Bernice with her husband Wesley Noblin and their children Jordan Nicole and Brice James. Lynn's career began at Wal-Mart in the Jewelry Dept. where she worked her way up from Christmas help to a District Manager for the Jewelry Division. After nearly 15 years in the retail sector, Lynn made a move to Saint Francis Hospital Human Resources Dept. when the family moved to Broken Arrow. After 9 years as a Employee Benefits Specialist at Saint Francis Hospital Lynn moved to WilTel Communications as an Employee Benefits Analyst until the company sold to Level 3 Communications at which time she gained employment with The Williams Companies as a Benefits Analyst II where she had remained employed. Lynn's hobbies included riding motorcycles with her husband Marty and friends, reading, swimming, "r.v'ing." and spending time with her 2 grandchildren and family. Lynn was preceded in death by her son Bradley Coombes; stepfather Robert E. Hamm; and brother Robert E. Hamm, Jr. Lynn is survived by her loving husband Marty W. Coombes of Broken Arrow; daughter Rachel Noblin and her husband Wesley of Bernice; grandchildren: Jordan and Brice Noblin of Bernice; daughter-in-law Marlaina Perkins Coombes of Broken Arrow;
mother Roberta Hamm of Bernice; father and stepmother: Bob and Letha Delp of Vinita;
siblings: Denise Dotson and her husband David of Bernice, Shelli Temple and her husband Mark of Owasso, Larry Hamm and his wife Nadine of Broken Arrow, Carol Ponder and her husband Bill of Claremore, Darry Hawkins and his wife Marsha of Vinita and Jeff Hawkins of Tulsa; father and mother-in-law: J.C. and Roberta Coombes of Vinita;
sister-in-law MaryGail Culp and her husband Todd of Vinita; brother-in-law Monty Coombes of Tulsa; God-sons: Jason Landers of Moore and Aaron Landers of Edmond;
