Lenora J. Jestice

December 9, 2012 Lenora J. Jestice passed from this life on December 4, 2012 in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 2 days. She was born on August 2, 1941 in Detroit, MI. On March 13, 1958, Lenora married Harry Lee Jestice at the New Hope Church in Muskogee, OK and they were married for 54 years until her passing. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Most importantly, Lenora enjoyed the ministry and spreading God's word to others. She and her husband Harry were members of the Broken Arrow First Baptist Church and she was also very active in the "Arms Around Broken Arrow" organization. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Alva Marks; daughter, Cynthia Susan Emerson; and brother, Leonard Marks. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry Lee Jestice; sons, Harry Lee Jestice, Jr., Randy Jestice and Rick Jestice; son in law, Phil Emerson; grandchildren, Michael Jestice and wife Renee, Jason Emerson, Jessica Tinsley and husband Jordan; Marina Snover and Miranda Jestice; great grandchild, Alice Jestice; brother, Joe Marks and wife Janet; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2012 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 10, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow with Pastor Nick Garland officiating.
