Kim Lauren Barnhart, age 63, resident of Coweta departed this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Kim was born on February 16, 1958 in Guam to William and Francis (Sykes) Weigel.  She was a gardaute of Star Spencer High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  Kim married the love of her life, James “Jim” Barnhart on May 31, 2005 in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  She was a devoted homemaker for most of her life.  Kim also worked at Country Mart in Coweta for 14 years.  She enjoyed plants, shopping, decorating, and she loved all animals.  Kim considered herself the fruit and veggie goddess.

Kim is survived by her husband, Jim Barnhart of Coweta, Oklahoma; her father, William Weigel; three children, Callie Holston and husband Joel of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Deidre Taylor of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Erika Watkins of Fairbanks, Alaska; three grandchildren, Oliver Holston, Harper Holston, and Maya Taylor; two brothers, Al Weigel and Michael Weigel; four loving fur babies; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Weigel and her sister, Debra Weigel.

Kim’s wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
