Kenneth Myers

Kenneth H. Myers, age 64, of Coweta departed this life on Friday afternoon, April 24, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his loving family members. He was born on August 23, 1944 in Hamilton, Ontario Canada to Walter H. and Margaret (Jamieson) Myers. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather to his family. He attended school in Tulsa, OK through the 12th grade. Kenneth owned and operated Myers Plumbing for 44 years. In 1964, he and Connie Gleason were united in marriage in Tulsa, OK and they later divorced. On July 28, 1966, Kenneth enlisted in the United States Army and he was honorably discharged on July 12, 1968. Then, in 1975 he and Connie moved to the Coweta area from Haskell. Kenneth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta and he was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 226 in Coweta. He enjoyed fishing and he loved spending time with his family. Kenneth will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth is lovingly survived by his love of 27 years, Jan Bowman of the home; his son, Max Myers and his wife, Shiann, of Sand Springs, OK; a daughter Jamie Danielson, and her husband, Shawn, of Haskell, OK; his two brothers, Bob Myers and his wife, Carolyn, of Prue, OK and Donnie Myers of Prue, OK; his two sisters, Sylvia Jackson and her husband, Calvin, of Chouteau, OK and Barbara Bunnell and her husband, Marc, of Pryor, OK; six grandchildren, Chance H. Myers, Riley Myers, Bret Myers, Ashley Myers, Ryan Danielson, and Erin Danielson; one uncle, Robert Myers and his wife, Bethel, of Tulsa; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta with Rev. David Jones officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Haskell. Family and friends may view the obituary and send condolences to Kenneth's family online @ www.wrightfh.net.
