Kenneth Wayne Beene, age 88, of Coweta passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, OK. Wayne was born on December 3, 1928 in Coweta, OK to Mamon and Fannie (Edwards) Beene. He graduated from Coweta High School in 1947. Wayne and Sue Marlow were married on July 29, 1950 in Tulsa, OK. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2002. Wayne worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK, Model A Ford Club of America- Tulsa Chapter, Green Country Classic Mustang Club, Telephone Pioneers of America and Life Member of Communications Workers of America. He enjoyed restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Wayne is survived by 1 son, Frankie Beene and his wife, Connie of Coweta, OK; 1 daughter, Beth Orcutt and her husband, Robert of Coweta, OK; 4 sisters, Dimple Virginia Marlow of Tulsa, OK, Auda Carr of Broken Arrow, OK, Pat Russell of Coweta, OK and Sherry Russell and her husband, Tom of Coweta, OK; 4 grandchildren, Angie Mann, Jonathon Beene, Matthew Orcutt, and Michael Orcutt; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Services celebrating Wayne's life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating.  Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.  Pallbearers will be Patrick Keim, Joe Mann, Jimmy Denton, Russell Johnson, Ronnie Carr, and Bill Collins.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernie Joice, Adolph Brazinsky, Vurnell Morgan, Jonathon Beene, Matthew Orcutt, and Michael Orcutt.  Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilyfuneralhome.com. The family of Kenneth Wayne Beene entrusted his care and services to Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home, 210 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK, 918-486-5515.
