Coweta

Kelland Ralph Wolf, known affectionately as Kell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Ambassador Manor Nursing Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 78 years. He was born on February 26, 1945, in Luling, TX to Robert and Lena (Cox) Wolf.

Kell is survived by his loving wife, Stacia Wolf, of their home in Coweta, OK; his son, Kelland Robert Wolf of Liberty Lake, WA; his grandson, Callahan Kelly Holland-Wolf; and his sister, Suzanne D'Eath of Tulsa, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lena Wolf, who instilled in him a strong sense of duty and respect for others.

A 1963 graduate of Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, OK, Kell's commitment to service was evident early on. His first enlistment in the United States Navy was from 1963 to 1969, during which he served two tours off the coast of Vietnam on guided missile destroyers. His dedication to his country was unwavering, and his experiences in the Navy shaped much of his life.

Following his initial military service, Kell transitioned to civilian life as a construction electrician from 1969 to 1976. He then worked at the City of Tulsa as a maintenance electrician and Armco Steel Mill in Sand Springs, OK. However, his call to service was not yet complete. In 1980, he enlisted in the Navy Reserves mobile construction battalion (Seabees) and in 1985 he was re-enlisted into active duty NMCB (Seabees). After 20 years of service, he retired in February of 1999 as Construction Electrician First Class. His work ethic and dedication were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Beyond his professional life, Kell was a man of varied interests. He was an avid hunter, particularly enjoying upland game birds. He often spent time hunting with his beloved English setters. He married Stacia Ann (Coleman) Wolf on June 26, 1987, and together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures.
