Kathleen "Kat" McCray Lee passed away suddenly on December 31, 2013, she was 60 years old. Kat was born March 8, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She lived on her horse ranch outside of Coweta, Oklahoma, where she shared her life with her horses, dogs, cats and a menagerie of many other unwanted but loved animals. Kat is survived by her brother, Philip McCray and wife Carolyn of Bakersfield, California; cousin, Waid Parker of San Diego, California and many many friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Martha McCray, cousins Joanie Parker and Eddie Temple. Kat graduated from Nathan Hale High School and went to college in Missoula, Montana and then attended farrier school to further her equine education. Kathy got her first horse when she was 8 years old. She won several awards in riding and showing her horses during her life. Kathy had many friends in the horse community and I'm sure she would love you to pay memory to her life by giving to the Animal Rescue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A memorial service for Kat will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK.
