Karlee Cannon

Karlee R. Cannon, longtime resident of Coweta, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at her home in Coweta, OK at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 12 days. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Karlee was born on September 16, 1938 in Coweta, OK to Carl E. and Lavell (Kelley) Rowland. She received her education in Coweta and graduated from Coweta High School in 1956. Karlee and Van Cannon were married on October 19, 1979 in Miami. OK. She worked for BancFirst in Coweta, OK as a customer service representative for 15 years until her retirement in 2004. After retiring from BancFirst, she worked at Wright Funeral Home as a receptionist for 4 years. Karlee enjoyed walking, reading, traveling and watching her grandchildren play sports. Karlee is lovingly survived by her husband of 31 years, Van of the home; her two sons, Lynn Price and Lance Arnesen, both of Coweta; her mother, Lavell Rowland of Coweta; her sister, Ophelia Wilson of Coweta; five grandchildren, Josh Price, Mickey Price, Jodi Price, Adam Price and Bailey Price; three great grandchildren, Mary Price, Rachel Price and Brookelynne Hughes; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Karlee will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta with Pastor Larry Duncan officiating.
