Karen Horton

Karen Kelly Horton, age 44, of Wagoner went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her home. She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. Karen was born on May 9, 1966 in French Camp, CA to William and Carol Jean (Smith) Steinocher. She attended school in Stockton, CA. After graduating from high school, Karen received her Associate Degree in Business. In 1993, she moved from Stockton, CA to Wagoner, OK where she had made her home for the past 17 years. Karen worked as receptionist at Coldwell Banker Select for 3 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Karen enjoyed playing bunko with her friends and she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones and friends. Karen is lovingly survived by her two sons, Jerrid Horton of Tulsa, OK and Justin Horton and his wife, Andrea, of Wagoner, OK; her mother and step-father, Carol and Bill Melton of Stockton, CA; her brother, Mark Steinocher of Knoxville, TN; her sister, Kimberly Morgan of Stockton, CA; two grandchildren, Arian Horton and Haden Horton; her god daughter, Montana McFarland; two nieces, Jolene Steinocher and Elizabeth Morgan; one nephew, William Steinocher; other relatives and a host of friends. Karen was preceded in death by her father, William Steinocher. Funeral services for Karen will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Coweta First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steve Lee officiating.
