Kaitlyn Nicole Owens

Kaitlyn Nicole Owens, age 19, of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday evening, December 2, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK. Kaitlyn was born July 20, 2000 in Tahlequah, OK and was the daughter of Ora Nicole (Rush) Owens and Roger Gail Owens, Jr. She was a 2019 graduate of Coweta High School. She worked at Playtime Plus Daycare in Broken Arrow and ABC Early Learning Center in Coweta. Kaitlyn was a member of Coweta Assembly of God. She enjoyed archery and became quite skilled with a bow and arrow. Kaitlyn was known for the love of her favorite color purple. She also enjoyed children, skiing, traveling with Josh, and she loved spending time with her family. Kaitlyn is survived by her mother, Ora Nicole "Nikky" Owens of Broken Arrow, OK; her father, Roger Gail Owens, Jr. of Tahlequah, OK; her two brothers, Roger Gail "Bo" Owens, III of Broken Arrow, OK and Ryder Gower Owens of Tahlequah, OK; her maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Marguerite Rush of Tahlequah, OK; her paternal grandmother, Marietta Wilson of Tahlequah, OK; her fiancé, Joshua Maker; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Kaitlyn is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Nicole Peace Maker and her paternal grandfather, Roger Owens, Sr. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating the lives of Kaitlyn and her infant daughter Nicole will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2019 at Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating.
