Juddie Dean "Jd" Foster

Juddie Dean Foster, also known as “JD”, age 86, resident of Wagoner went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Wagoner Community Hospital in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Juddie was born on April 18, 1936 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Clifford Lee and Tina Mae (Bramlett) Foster.  He was a 1954 graduate of Coweta High School in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Juddie married the love of his life, Susan Edith Johnson on May 4, 1967 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  He began working as a Police Officer in Coweta, Oklahoma and was the Police Chief in Talala, Oklahoma for 8 years.  He also owned a service station in Coweta, Oklahoma, owned Jay’s Drive-In in Duncan, Oklahoma, and was an ordained minister.  Juddie enjoyed pitching horseshoes, telling stories, cooking, spending time with his family, and he was a jack of all trades.

Juddie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Foster of the home in Wagoner, Oklahoma; his daughters, Tammy Robinson and husband Larry of Disney, Oklahoma, Evelyn Harris of San Bernardino, California, and Linda Licon and husband Paul of San Bernardino, California; his son, JD Foster, Jr. of San Bernardino, California; his brother, Don Foster and wife Joyce of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Juddie was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Lee and Tina Mae Foster, his daughter, Deborah Kaye Schrader, his brothers, Johnny Edward Foster and Cecil Leon Foster, Sr., his granddaughter, Tara Foster, and his great grandson, Ryan Foster.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Juddie’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Don Foster officiating.  Juddie will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Brock Foster, Leon Foster, Mike Foster, Luke Foster, Clifford “Chuck” Foster, and Mike Brown.  Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Robinson, Matt Foster, Richey Strain, and Jack Sparrier.
