Juanita Wallis

Cathryn "Juanita" Wallis, age 73, of Catoosa, OK passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Juanita was born on April 8, 1939 in Montrose, AR. She and Harold Gene Wallis were united in marriage on November 30, 1958 in Winnie, TX. She owned and operated a self-service Laundromat for around 10 years. Juanita was also a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed her dogs, playing bingo, gardening and going to flea markets. She will be missed as a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Juanita is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold Wallis of the home; her daughter, Beverly; her sons, Curtis Wallis and Howard Wallis; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A graveside service for Juanita is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Pastor Allan Swinson officiating. There will be no viewing for Juanita.
