Juanita Porter

Juanita June Prather Porter departed from this life on September 10, 2016 just before midnight to join the love of her life, Paul William Porter, who left her for his heavenly home in April of 1979. Juanita was 92 years old and resided in Catoosa for many years before retiring to Inola Health Center Nursing Home and eventually to Rolling Hills Care Center in Catoosa. She left behind six children, Danny Paul Porter (residing in Heaven), Gary Wayne Porter of Catoosa, Gloria June Porter Van Valkenburg (residing in Heaven), Carol Anne Porter Wilcox Hoke of Sapulpa, her husband Douglas Hoke, Cheryl Lynn Porter Campbell of Broken Arrow, her husband Larry Campbell and Kathy Gail Porter Matthews of Oregon City, Oregon. She had 22 grandchildren. She also had great grandchildren and great great grandchildrentoo numerous to count. She had two sisters, Wanda and Judy, three brothers, Robert, Ron and Melvin. She also had many nephews and nieces from all across the state of Oklahoma and nationwide. She loved going to church and looking her best for the Lord. Her faith in God kept her strong throughout her entire life and she passed this faith on to her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
