Juanita Maxine Londagin

Juanita Maxine Londagin, age 89, long-time resident of Haskell, OK passed away Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011 at her home in Haskell, OK with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on July 15, 1922 in California to her parents, Clarence and Thelma Neoma (Allen) George. Maxine received her education in Grove, OK and she went to get her driver's license at the age of 70. She and Delbert Raymond Londagin were married on May 15, 1939 in Thomas, OK and he later preceded her in death. Maxine was a homemaker for most of her life and she was a Pastor at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church. Maxine continued to attend the same church which is now known as Redemption Life until 2010 when her ministry was given to her Grandson, Bryan Londagin and he started a new grass roots work in Haskell known as Voice of Hope Church. She attended their as her health would allow where she delivered her final sermon on the one year anniversary of the new church. Maxine enjoyed gardening, cooking, music and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Maxine is lovingly survived by her 8 children, Ollen Londagin and wife, Linda, of Haskell, OK, Ruby Bell and husband, Dean, of Custer, OK, Marvene Drywater and husband, Stan, of Wagoner, OK, Mary Jo Kale of Graham, TX, Erv Londagin and wife, Nina, of Haskell, OK, Susie Hamon and husband, Rod, of Eureka Springs, AR, Junie Copeland and husband, Dale, of Bengal, OK and Lonnie Londagin and wife, Frankie, of Bengal, OK; 1 brother, Harold George of Evanston, WY; 32 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Delzine, one brother and two grandsons, Chris Londagin and Ronald Dean Bell. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Haskell, OK. Chad Hopkins, Dale Copeland, Erv Londagin and Bryan Londagin will officiate the service. A private interment will be at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, OK. Pallbearers are Roger Bell, Josh Copeland, Zachary Copeland, Cody Londagin, Jeremy Morgan, Tyrell Yandell, Nathan Copeland and Leon Cline. Honorary Pallbearer is Ray Londagin.
