Joyce Lorraine O'Banion

Joyce Lorraine O'Banion, age 66, of Broken Arrow, OK passed away Thursday morning July 18, 2019 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Joyce was born on January 11, 1953 in Tulsa, OK and was the daughter of Raymond Leroy and Edna Irene (Cobb) Stevens. She attended McClain High School and then went on to cosmetology school and became a beautician. Joyce married Gary Dennis O'Banion, Sr. on July 25, 1969 in Tulsa, OK. Joyce was a beautician at Southern Hills Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed collecting antique dishes, traveling, going on cruises, and amusement parks. Joyce loved her grandkids and her dogs. Joyce is survived by her husband, Gary O'Banion of Broken Arrow, OK; 4 children, Ray O'Banion of Tulsa, OK, Lori Keeter and husband Justin of Tulsa, OK, Heather Ferrell and husband JD of Broken Arrow, OK, and Tracy Littlefield of Broken Arrow, OK; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Brenda McGeehee and husband Richard and Suzie Byington and husband Jimmy, all of Claremore, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Edna Stevens; her son, Gary O'Banion, Jr.; and her brother, Bill Stevens. A private family service will be held for Joyce.
