Johnny Lee Hancock, also known as “John”, age 57, resident of Broken Arrow went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, January 20, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  John was born on January 11, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the son of Bobby Jean and Carolyn Ann (Moore) Hancock.

John grew up in Tulsa and attended Webster High School.  He married the love of his life, Teresa Pauline Hancock on August 30, 1985 in Tulsa.  John worked as an engineer at ONEOK.  He had previously worked as an engineer at Core Orthopedic Hospital in Jenks, Oklahoma.  He was a member of Redemption Holiness Church in Broken Arrow.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife, Teresa Hancock of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his father, Bobby Jean Hancock of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three children, Samantha Nachol Camacho and husband Ivan, Johnna Lea McElhany and husband Tyler, and Johnny Lee Hunter Hancock, Jr., all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Karson Camacho, Kylea Camacho, Abigail McElhany, and Trenton McElhany; one sister, Donna Condreay and husband Wes of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Ann Hancock and his sister, Carla Cordova.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home.  Services celebrating John’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Oneta Holiness Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Leon Rich officiating.  John will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
