Johnna Horton-Mowry

Johnna Virgina Horton-Mowry, resident of Broken Arrow, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, December 13, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 13 days. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother to her family. Johnna was born on December 31, 1953 in Carthage, MO to Johnnie and Minnie "Becky" (Brown) Steele. In 1978, she moved from Houston, TX to Broken Arrow, Ok where she has resided for the past 32 years. Johnna was an accountant for Convergys Corporation in Tulsa, OK for 15 years. She and Dave Mowry were married on June 28, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. Johnna enjoyed the lake and the sun. Johnna is lovingly survived by her husband, Dave of Broken Arrow, OK; two sons, Brian Fieker and Brad Fieker, both of Broken Arrow, OK; three daughters, Kristen Mansfield and Jenny Petty, both of Broken Arrow, OK and Erin Mowry of Tulsa, OK; her parents, Johnnie and Becky Steele of Carthage, MO; one sister, Cindy Rogers of Carthage, MO; eight grandchildren; two nephews; other relatives and a host of friends. Johnna was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Horton. Funeral services for Johnna will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta with Pastor Terry Mize officiating.
