Joan W. Considine, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away at her home in Tulsa, OK, on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 97. She was born on February 22, 1927, in Garber, OK to Sanford Lee and Annie (Reed) Warren. Joan lived a life marked by dedication to her family, a strong work ethic, and a love for simple pleasures.
Joan was a proud graduate of Coweta High School. After graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she worked as a communications technician for 30 years until her retirement.
In her personal life, Joan was known for her creative talents and hobbies. She found joy in knitting and crocheting, creating countless pieces for her loved ones and friends. Her passion for working crossword puzzles and Sudoku kept her mind sharp, while her love for movies and adoration of Elvis Presley provided endless entertainment.
Joan's family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Goebel of Tulsa, OK; her son, Brad Jardine of Chicago, IL; and her adored grandchildren, Sarah Jardine, Elisabeth Jardine, Mary Jardine, Martha Jardine, Lydia Jardine, Grace Jardine, Joanna McCormick Jardine, Becky Archer, Kim Gabel, and Haylle Florez. She was blessed with 20 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and laughter. Joan also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Considine; her son, Allen Jardine; her parents, Sanford Lee and Annie (Reed) Warren; and her siblings, eight brothers, and two sisters.
Joan's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of a life well-lived. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
Visitation for Joan will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM with Rev. Brody Morris officiating, celebrating Joan's life and the impact she had on those around her.
