April 14, 2014 Jo Anne Adams, age 64, of Tulsa, Oklahoma died Thursday, April 10, 2014; at her home with her Aunt Vivian and her best friend Albert by her side. She was born December 14, 1949; in Pittsylvania County, and was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Iris Adams of Riceville, Virginia. She graduated from Chatham High School in 1968, then continued her education at Ferrum College and East Carolina University, graduating with a degree in sociology. After moving to Richmond, Virginia; she worked for the Police Department until she became affiliated with Trinity Broadcasting, a Christian based network. That affiliation lead her to develop a new love for God which inspired her to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma; to attend RHEMA Bible Training College. After graduating, she spent the rest of her life proclaiming Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and sharing the Gospel with everyone she met. In addition to her best friend Albert Bonnell, she is survived by her Aunt Vivian Chaney, of Danville, Virginia; and her brother, Eddie Adams and wife, Diane of Colonial Heights, Virginia and their children. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in Muskogee, Oklahoma; by Pastor Cathy Haguewood. Kennedy-
