Jessie Yvonne Kimberly, age 62, of Coweta passed away peacefully Friday, August 8, 2014 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Catoosa, OK. Yvonne was born on March 5, 1952 in Drumright, OK to Jessie Dewayne and Alice Lee (McClendon) Wright. She graduated from High School in Drumright, OK and then attended Bryan Institute in Tulsa, OK receiving her degree in Dental Assisting. Yvonne was a hairdresser for 40 years and then worked as a Dental Assistant for 10 years until she retired. She enjoyed scrap booking, reading and playing computer games. Yvonne is survived by her 3 children, Rod Kimberly and his wife, Shannon, of Coweta, OK, Terry Hammock and his wife, Billye, of Haskell, OK and Tammy Thomas and her husband, Jerry, of Haskell, OK; 2 sisters, Theresa Sutton of Coweta, OK and Shirley Osborn of Tahlequah, OK; 1 brother, Bill Blacksher of Tulsa, OK; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, her parents, 1 son, Tony, 1 granddaughter, Destiny and 2 brothers, Dale Blacksher and Allen Wright. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Monday August 11, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6 PM - 8 PM. Funeral services celebrating the life of Yvonne will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.
