Jesse Lee Richardson, Jr., age 46, of Tulsa departed this life on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On December 3, 1961, a son was born to Jesse and Rose Ann (Conard) Richardson, Sr. in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They named him Jesse Lee Richardson, Jr. He was the first born to this union. Preceding him in death were his mother and three siblings, Louis, Louise, and Zelda. Born in Muskogee and raised in Boynton, Oklahoma, Jesse met and lived with Pat Oxford for 16 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were common law married. Remaining father is Jesse Richardson, Sr. Remaining living brothers and sisters are Linda Payne of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Carol Johnson of Coweta, Oklahoma; Jannette Richard of Wichita, Kansas; James Richardson of Wichita, Kansas; Marcus Cade of Coweta, Oklahoma; and Marie Evans of Coweta, Oklahoma. Remaining children are Jesse Richardson, III of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Teyonna Richardson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jermaine Richardson of McAlester, Oklahoma; Craig Richardson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Clinton Richardson of Vian, Oklahoma; Brenda and Carnita, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and step-son, Charles Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Remaining grandchildren are Martreveon Creggett, Nevnen Conway, Ieshia, Tyesha, and Kaylynn Richardson, Davian Stafford and DaMontre Stafford, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. At an early age, Jesse learned to be a hard working man, like many during that time. He received a high school diploma with honors. He also received plaques and awards for outstanding student with a 4.0 grade point average. He was involved in 4-H and basketball. When Jesse was in grade school his nickname was Antique. He was very smart and loved to show his chickens at the fairgrounds. Jesse loved to hunt and fish. He also had the nickname Pumpa, which was very close to him. Jesse loved his mother dearly. While attending school at Boynton High School, he worked at McDonald's in Muskogee as the assistant manager. He also studied law with his mother's best friend, Betty Smart of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Later, he moved to Muskogee and drove a cab for Service Cab of Muskogee. Jesse would try anything. He even tried to drive an eighteen wheeler that his two cousins, Red and Michael Conard, owned. He was a loving person and would help anyone. Jesse knew who his Savior was and he believed in God. He attended Connan Baptist Church in his spare time. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Victor London officiating.
