Jerry Bruce Sampson, Jr., age 55, of Broken Arrow, OK passed away at his home on Friday, June 5, 2015. Bruce was born on January 5, 1960 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Jerry Bruce and Mary Ethel (Campbell) Sampson, Sr. He attended Coweta Public Schools and graduated high school in 1978. He also attended Platt College. Bruce joined the United States Air Force on June 14, 1978 and was honorably discharged on October 15, 1980. Bruce and Nancy Jean Trott were united in marriage on July 7, 1988 in Miami, OK. Bruce worked for Newton Design & Fabrication where he built simulators. He attended the Church of Christ. Bruce enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and guns. Bruce is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; 3 sons, Joseph Gunter Sampson of the home, Joshua Cory Sampson and his wife, Randie of Broken Arrow, OK, and Kenneth Perry Job of Buffalo, OK; his parents, Jerry Bruce and Mary (Campbell) Sampson, Sr.; 1 sister, Susan Thompson and her husband, Daniel of Owasso, OK; 1 brother, David Sampson and his wife, Cindy of Wagoner; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother-in-law Maxine Trott. No services are planned.
