Jerry Wayne Hollenbeck

Memorial services celebrating the life of Jerry Wayne Hollenbeck will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Jerry Wayne Hollenbeck, age 76, resident of Coweta went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 27, 2018 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was born on March 14, 1942 in Ellsworth, KS and was the son of John Edwin and Joyce Elnore (Andrea) Hollenbeck. Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He enlisted in the Navy on August 20, 1959 and was honorably discharged on March 1, 1963. Jerry married the love of his life, Delores Gene "Dee" (Matthews) Hollenbeck on April 14, 1990 in Bartlesville, OK. After graduating high school, he began working as a furniture upholster. Jerry owned and operated Hollenbeck House Upholstery until he retired in 2001. He was a member of the Coweta Assembly of God. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jerry is survived by his wife, Dee Hollenbeck of the home in Coweta, OK; 5 children, Jay Dee Hollenbeck of Oklahoma City, OK, Jayne Andrea Hollenbeck of Norman, OK, Jack Alan Hollenbeck and wife, Brooke of Bixby, OK, Tammy Hormann and husband, Bill of Edmond, OK and Kimberly Sowers and husband, Shannon of Bethel, WA; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Hazel, Ivy, Iris, Autumn, Bre, Craig, Kyle, Eric, Nolan and Lauren; 3 great grandsons, Tristan, Ryker and Grayson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John Edwin and Joyce Elnore Hollenbeck and 1 brother, Jay Dee Hollenbeck. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
