Jerry Harp

Jerry Lester Harp, age 66, of Coweta, OK passed from this life on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his home. He was born on December 5, 1942 in Broken Arrow, OK to Arlie Lester and Imogene (Douglas) Harp. Jerry received his education in the Broken Arrow, OK school system. He and Susan Renee Goines were united in marriage on July 3, 1992 in Coweta, OK. Jerry worked at Flowserve as a burr bench operator for 33 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping. Jerry was preceded in death by his father. Jerry is lovingly survived by his wife, Susan of the home; his mother, Imogene Harp of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters, Delores Ann Billue and her husband, Bob, of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathy Meadows of Coweta, OK, nine nieces and eight nephews; parents-in-law, Jim and Alene Goines of Boynton, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Hoss Delcoure of Liberty Mounds, OK and Linda and Mark Watkins of Coweta, OK; grandmother, Dorthy Goines of Muskogee, OK and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Ed Rutherford officiating and Rev. Greg Meadows assisting. Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
