Mr. Jeremie Jerome Manns is the son of Karen Jean Manns (Mother) and Jerry Jerome Littles, Jr. (Father). He was dedicated to the Lord at the age of 12 months and baptized at the age of 9 years old under the leadership of Rev. John W. Anderson. As a youth, at the age of 13 he joined First Assembly of God under Pastor Steve Lee, in Coweta, Oklahoma. He was a member of Northside Christ Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the leadership of Rev. John and Margrett Anderson. Other than his battle for his health, he attended church regularly with his mother and his siblings. He loved making surprise visits to his Uncle Leroy’s church, CME, Muskogee.
He grew up in Coweta, Oklahoma and graduated from Coweta High School in 2006. He attended veterinary school at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma as well as vo-tech in Muskogee, Oklahoma where he later became certified to be a veterinary.
Jeremie loved life to its fullest and was truly a daring person. He loved fishing, football, Castle, dogs, and most of all deer hunting. Jeremie was a true country boy. His face would light up when he would talk about his cows, goats, and guns. He had a big love for farming and the country way of life. No matter how his health would have him, he continued to focus on getting out to go fishing and hunting with his cousins and mess with the goats and other animals. He enjoyed calling his uncles on the phone to joke around with them, especially his Uncles Leroy and Sunny. Jeremie was a great father and loved every bit of it. He loved family and spending time with them. He enjoyed time with his father and cooking out at his mom’s house. Jeremie loved going home for visits. He really enjoyed being an uncle to his nieces and nephews, who always made the visits much sweeter, and they were always excited to see him as well.
Those that preceded in death were his brother, Stetmon Hamilton Manns, his maternal grandparents, Damon Manns and Louise Manns, his paternal grandfather, Jerry Littles, Sr, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Christy Dawn Manns of Miami, Oklahoma, his lovely mother, Karen Jean Manns of Coweta, Oklahoma, his father and stepmother, Jerry Littles, Jr. and Wynetta Littles of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his grandmother Shirley Littles of Tulsa, his stepchildren Tyler Choat, Matthew Choat, McKayla Choat, and Kakia Choat, three sisters, Mariah Manns, Shandell Manns, and Raven Manns, all of Coweta, Oklahoma, two brothers, Demeco Turner and girlfriend Yamika Matthews of North Carolina, and Keejuan Colbert and wife Shawn Colbert of Tulsa, Oklahoma, seven nieces, Samiah Smith, Adaya Manns, Shan’Dreyia Rendon, Promise Richardson, Gianna Blesynn Manns, Ke’ira Smith and Kylani Manns, five nephews Dakari Smith, Emir Smith, Osiah Richardson, Marquez Smith and Kyran Manns, his godmother, Janelle Lee of Desoto, Texas, that he loved dearly, and special thanks to his cousin and barber, Deon Smith, for always keeping him hooked up.
