Jeffery Lynn Hamilton, age 70, resident of Broken Arrow was born on May 28, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was the son of Ira Lee and Bernice Elizabeth (Kimmel) Hamilton. He passed away on Tuesday evening, July 14, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jeff was raised in Del City, Oklahoma and graduated from Del City High School Class of 1968. He married the love of his life, Arlene Ann MacLean on June 1, 1985 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jeff was a talented musician and drummer. He worked for many years in commercial ceiling and drywall construction. He owned and operated many businesses including Hamilton and Sparkman Enterprises in Tulsa and A & J Motor Sports in Coweta. He retired in 2012 after being a truck driver, wrecker driver and construction estimator. One of the highlights of his life was getting a patent on lipgrippers, a tie-down system for pickup truck beds. Jeff was a Patriot and wonderful husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed playing drums, shooting guns, hot rod cars, Nascar, golfing, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Arlene Hamilton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his four children, Richard Ryan and wife Vicky of Bixby, Oklahoma, Michelle Miller and husband Brian of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, David Hamilton of Signal Hill, California, and Chelsie Hamilton and partner Jaymes Lively of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Lee and Bernice Elizabeth Hamilton.
Viewing for Jeff will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta. Graveside services celebrating Jeff’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
