J.D. Wilson, Jr. was born October 28, 1958 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to J. D. Wilson Sr., and Sammie Sue Criner. J.D. grew up in Tulsa, OK and graduated from East Central High School, where he was known as Joe Criner. J.D. retired from the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and riding his motorcycle. He loved to watch his son, Heath play football. J.D. departed this life September 29, 2016 at the age of 57. He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Sr., and by Brenda Gray, Barbara Wilson, Mark Chaddick and Bob Chaddick. Survivors include his son, Heath Wilson of Kansas City; his mother, Sammie Criner of Tulsa; his ex-wife and friend, Gina Wilson Burgess of Coweta; a stepson, Dustin Seacrest of Coweta; grand-daughters, Hailey Seacrest and Adisyn Seacrest; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Corey and Jennifer Dunford and their daughter, Emily Dunford; numerous cousins; other relatives and friends.
