Jayna Elizabeth Mcintyre

April 8, 1955 — October 26, 2019

Jayna Elizabeth (Casper) McIntyre was born April 8,1955 to J.W. and Emma Casper. She was born at St Joseph's hospital in Ponca City, OK. She then resided in Tonkawa, OK, along with her brother Tim. Upon graduation, Jayna attended Tulsa Junior College and Rogers State University where she found her passion was Nursing. She later graduated from Hillcrest School of Nursing where she found some of her dearest friends and coworkers. She later met and married John McIntyre of Stranear, Scotland, where she was given the opportunity to travel and explore new places. Among the many people she met during her time in Europe, she was most grateful for the friendship she found in Monica and her daughter Catherine. Upon moving back to Tulsa, Jayna welcomed her children Bryan, and later Kyle, into the world. In 2006, Bryan married Whitney and gave Jayna her first two grandchildren, Emerson and Jackson. In 2009, Kyle married Amanda and later gave birth to Addison and Kylie. As a child, Jayna enjoyed horses, basketball, and playing trumpet in her school band. Jayna was a devoted nurse and felt that her work was God's work, and her ministry. As life progressed, Jayna's passions were more focused on her family. Whether playing dolls or cars with her grandchildren, or watching an OU game with her sons, Jayna relished every moment she had with them. A celebration of life in honor of Jayna is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. November 9, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK. Any flowers and gifts may be sent to Brown Family Funeral Home in Coweta, and the family asks that any donations be made in Jayna's name to March of Dimes.
