Janis Lea (Mcdaniel) Hutson

Janis Lea Hutson, age 68, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 10,2024 at home in Coweta, OK. Janis was born on November 3, 1955, to James and Norma McDaniel in Tulsa ok. She was a graduate of Broken Arrow High School.

Janis married the love of her life, Walter Van Hutson on July 13, 1979, in Broken Arrow, OK. She worked for DAC for many years. She was an avid reader, she loved her cooking shows, going to watch softball games, traveling, but she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and her dogs.

Janis was preceded in death by her husband Van Hutson, parents, James and Norma McDaniel, 2 brothers, John McDaniel and Joe McDaniel and 1 sister, Joyce Stokes.

Janis was survived by 2 sons, Hollis Hutson and wife, Leah of Sequim, WA and Wade Hutson and wife, Melanie of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 daughters, Tracy Baltzell of Coweta, OK and Candy Owens of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Jim and Jeff and their wives; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Janis will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK.
