Janelle D. Cheek

July 25, 2012 Janelle D. Cheek passed from this life on July 21, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was born on December 23, 1957 in Holcomb, KS to David Paul and Carmen (Avila) Martinez. Janelle enjoyed shopping, fishing, antiquing, travelling and watching movies. She especially loved being spending time with her family and buying presents for her grandkids. Janelle was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Jerry D. Cheek, who passed away on May 30, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her father, David; brothers, Daryll Martinez and Emilio Martinez; and sister, Shary Martinez. Janelle is survived by her children Joshua, Sharee, Anastasha, Alvaro, Valentino, and Tanner; grandchildren, Iliana, Aliyah, Zaine, Serenity, Xander, and Leland;
mother, Carmen Elizarraras; siblings, Paul Martinez, Gene Martinez, Sandra Martinez, Shelly Arteaga and Michael Martinez; and numerous other family members and friends.
