Jana "Jan" Kaye Featherston

Jana “Jan” Kaye Featherston, age 73, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, February 13, 2022, at her home.  Jan was born on September 27, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Art and Carroll Warren.  Jan graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1966.  Jan married the love of her life, Lynn Featherston, on December 19, 1967, at Wheeling Avenue Christian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was an Army wife for 21 years until 1988.  Jan was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  She enjoyed studying her Bible, and spending time with both her families at home and at church.

Jan is survived by her husband, Lynn Featherston of the home; three children, Bill Featherston and his wife, Linda, of Overland Park, Kansas, Lynette Harrell and her husband, Lee, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Su Berry of Conroe, Texas; four granddaughters, Ashleigh Harrell of Branson, Missouri, Anna Featherston and Emily Featherston, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Hollee Harrell and Zach Brown of Springfield, Missouri; one great grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Carroll Warren and an unnamed infant daughter.

A memorial service celebrating Jan’s life will be at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Matt Brooks officiating.
