James Harry Snow of Tulsa, 67, passed away April 1, 2016 at home. He was born January 7, 1949 in Inglewood, CA (Southern California) to Jack Norman and Georgiann Harriet (Glick) Snow. Jim loved the beach and surfing, was very loyal to family and friends, an avid reader who always had several books going at once, loved to write, and always planned to publish someday. He was a collector at heart. Jim had an extensive book collection, stamp, watch and coin collections; and spent many hours looking for his next treasure. He loved education, completing a Master's Degree and completed all the class work for a Doctorate. Jim loved to travel, and went on many road trips, both alone and with family. His wife appreciated that he didn't make her go with him. Jim served his country honorably in the US Navy and was a longtime educator. He is survived by his loving wife Susan (Lewis) Snow; daughters: Megan Griffin and Jackie Snow; son Brendan Snow; grandchildren: Hunter, Savannah and Baby Boy Griffin (expected soon); sister Jayne Hickman; many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation: 12-8PM Tuesday, April 5;
service: 10AM Wednesday, April 6 at the Chapel; interment: Park Grove Cemetery. Kennedy-Kennard Funeral & Cremation, 918.251.5331, kennedycares.com.
