She was born on July 7, 1943, in Tulsa where she grew up attending Rogers High School. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone.
Jackie was the loving matriarch of a large and devoted family. She cherished the time spent with her children, Brad Gordon and his wife Summer, and Cheryl Zornes with her husband Scott. A grandmother and great grandmother many times over, Jackie took great pride in her grandchildren Don Gordon and wife Malea, Jamie Gable and husband Rich, Luke Gordon and wife Kandee, Ryan Gordon, Lance Gordon, Haley Zebrowski and husband Samson, Kelley Zornes and husband Aaron, Wes Zornes, and Dusty Zornes. Her great-grandchildren Beckett Gordon, Scarlett Gordon and Victoria Gable.
She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Jobe. Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Harry Gordon, her parents, Lloyd Merical and Neva (Hall) Merical, her sister Patty Holliman, and her brothers-in-law Gale Holliman and Carl Jobe.
Jackie dedicated many years working as an Automotive bookkeeper, Veterinary Assistant, Ballpark Concessionaire & bookkeeper as well as embracing the role of a homemaker—a job she performed with endless love and dedication. Jackie's interests were as warm and comforting as her presence; she found joy in knitting, crochet, working puzzles, playing bunco, and her love and adoration for her cats. Those who knew her will remember Jackie for her infectious smile and her caring nature for friends and family.
