Ivan Coday

Ivan Wayne Coday of Coweta, age 48, passed away Wednesday morning, June 27, 2012 at his home in Coweta, OK. Ivan passed away just seven days before his 49th birthday. Ivan was born on July 4, 1963 in Honolulu, Hawaii and was the son of Paul Wayne Coday and Connie Louise (Tucker) Collins. Ivan was a 1981 graduate of Coweta High School. On December 20, 1986, he married Debbie LeMay in Coweta, OK and they had two children together, Eric and Callie. Ivan worked at All American Hearing as a Hearing Instrument Specialist for two years and he had worked in the hearing aid business for over twenty years. Ivan was a member of Guts Church in Tulsa. Ivan enjoyed playing guitars, drums and keyboards, playing in bands, music, cooking, electronics and he liked eating spicy foods. Ivan will be missed, as a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Ivan is survived by his son, Eric C. Coday of Coweta; his daughter, Callie N. Coday of Coweta; his mother and step-father, Connie and Roy Collins of Haskell; his sister, Paula Keck Moore of Coweta; his ex-wife, Debbie Coday of Georgia; his mother-in-law, Edwinna LeMay of Coweta; his nieces, K.C. Keck, Alex Keck, Sifan Moore, Jordan Moore, Mackenzie LeMay and Adyson LeMay; his great nephew, Nash Chandler; his honorary brother, Kirk Davidson; other relatives and a host of friends. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Guts Church, 9120 E. BA Expressway, Tulsa, OK 74145. Honorary Pallbearers are Cary Carlisle, Gary Wilson, Kirk Walker, Randy Holmes, Sam Fisher, Steve Harp, Eugene Sepulveda, Mitch Replogle and Toby Hewitt.
