Hezekiah Akingbehin was born August 1st, 1968, in Lagos Nigeria to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Olajide Akingbehin. He is the fourth of nine children. He attended St Paul’s Anglican Primary School Mafoluku Oshodi Lagos state Nigeria from 1974 to 1980 and Ikeja Grammar school Oshodi Lagos state Nigeria from 1980 to 1985. After his secondary education, he got admitted into Nigeria Ports Authority training school where he was trained as a Marine engineer and moved into employment for the same company as an assistant engineer. After various trainings both in Nigeria and abroad he moved up to the position of a Chief Engineer on board vessels and deputizing as port engineer. He worked for several years with Nigeria Ports Authority before moving to United states with his family. In 2011, he got married to Esther Akingbehin, and they are blessed with three children Daniel, Dunamis and Goodness. Hezekiah is a God fearing, loving, and caring father and husband. From his younger years he loved singing, serving in church and was an active member of the choir. He is survived by his wife, children, brothers, and sisters.
Services celebrating Hezekiah’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. Hezekiah will be laid to rest at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, OK.
