Harold Chester Labor of Coweta, age 58, a loving and caring father, brother, and grandfather, passed away Wednesday morning, February 22, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Harold was born on March 2, 1953 in McAlester, OK to his parents, Chester Harold and Myrtle Olivia (McNeer) Labor. Harold was a 1971 graduate of Haileyville High School in Haileyville, OK. Harold and Rhoda Leann McManes were married on June 16, 1972 in Krebs, OK and she preceded him in death on July 19, 2011. Harold worked as a master welder at Exterran Inc. in Broken Arrow for several years. In 2006, he and Rhoda moved from Bixby, OK to the Coweta area, where they made their home for several years. Harold enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, fly fishing, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Harold is lovingly survived by his daughter, Brandi Sallee and husband, Scott, of Perryville, KY; three sisters, Mary Alverson and husband, Harold, of Hartshorne, OK, Doretta Jones of Knoxville, TN, and Ofreda Labor of Coweta, OK; one brother, Aaron Labor and wife, Carolyn, of Hartshorne, OK; 3 grandchildren, Afton Labor, Xander Sallee, and Carter Sallee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rhoda Labor, his son, Clint Labor, and one sister Suellen Moore. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A graveside service for Harold is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Bache Red Oak Cemetery in Bache, OK with Keith Eldridge officiating.
