Harold Fullerton

Harold Glenn Fullerton of Bixby, OK, age 89, a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, and uncle, passed away Sunday morning, February 19, 2012 at his daughter's residence in Coweta, OK. Harold was born on June 1, 1922 in Luther, Michigan and was the son of Glenn Oliver and Ann (Melluls) Fullerton. Harold received his Associate's Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. Harold and Linda Larkin were married on November 15, 1951 and have spent over 60 years together. Harold repaired farming equipment at Pettit John Deere in Hugo, OK for over 15 years. After Harold retired he enjoyed being a handyman. Harold enjoyed creating things, gardening, and he loved being around people and spending time with his family. Harold is lovingly survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Fullerton of the home; five sons, Doug Fullerton of Branson, MO, Dennis Fullerton and wife, Ginny, of Bay City, MI, Robert Fullerton and wife, Gail, of Freeland, MI, Harold Fullerton and wife, Terri, of Rockford, MI, and Tim Fullerton and wife, Gail, of Riverside, IL; two daughters, Beth Gunter and husband, Jeff, of Coweta, OK and Kathy Semler and husband, Dennis, of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Dorothy Maxwell and husband, Bill; 11 grandchildren, David, Matt, Elyse, Tim, Aaron, Cali, Chad, Scott, Jeffrey, Tyler, and Carter; 6 great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brianna, McKenna, Charlotte, Brynn, and Leah; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Crystal Thomas, one brother, Gerald, and two sisters, Doris and Gladys. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, February 21, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Harold Fullerton, Robert Fullerton, Dennis Fullerton, Doug Fullerton, Jeff Gunter, and Dennis Semler.
