Golden Cox

Golden Cox, age 94, of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Golden was born on March 5, 1923 to Matt and Gypsy Carla (Spencer) Center in Blackey, KY. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Golden was a member of the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and she loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially her great grandson, Keegen. Golden was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Gypsy Carla Center, 1 daughter, Brenda West, 2 brothers, Olaf Center and Lawrence Center and 1 sister, Grace Center. Golden is survived by 2 children, Kenny Cox and wife, Sherry of New Richmond, OH and Karla Harden of Louisville, KY; 7 grandchildren, Chassie Cox, Robyn Rymarz, Tracey Harden, Heather Clark, Shawn Cox, Kelly Vose and Damon Caldwell; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Golden's life will be at 10 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK.
