Geraldine Greene

Geraldine (Brians) Greene was born on March 29, 1943 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Earl Lee and Eva Lucille (Todd) Brians.  Geraldine entered into the Gates of Heaven on Thursday morning, March 9, 2023 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

Geraldine grew up in Coweta and attended Coweta Public Schools.  She was saved and baptized at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Broken Arrow.  She worked beside her mother, her sister Joy, and other relatives at Main Street Café in Wagoner for years.  She also worked alongside her daughter Robbin at the Good Dog Coney shop for eight years.  Geraldine retired from Russelectric in 2008.  She enjoyed family time and playing dominoes and cards.  She also loved watching Wheel of Fortune and would not answer the telephone during that time.  She also enjoyed collecting ink pens.

Geraldine is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Dorr and husband Donald of Mazie, Oklahoma, Rhonda Williams and husband Gerald of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Robbin Corley and husband Kenneth of Coweta, Oklahoma; her sister, Joy Morgan and husband Darrell of Wagoner, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Brian, Jeffrey, Shawnda, Kalea, Kyndal, Bobby, Kyle, and Shelby; twenty-one great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Lee Brians and Lucille Neugin, her daughter, Lisa Greene, and her brothers, Kenneth Brians and Warren Brians.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.  Services celebrating Geraldine’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Ed Rutherford officiating.  Geraldine will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Brian Wilson, Mark Morgan, Jeffrey Williams, Scott Brians, Bobby Dorr, Kenmore Brians, and Keith Brians.

The family would like to thank Choice Hospice and the staff, Mark, Theresa, Kellie, Lori, and Rev. Burke for the excellent care of their mother.
