Gerald Warren

Gerald Dee Warren, age 78, of Oktaha, Oklahoma departed this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1931 in Garber, Oklahoma to Sandarford and Annie (Reed) Warren. Gerald was a loving husband, father, and brother to his family. He received his education in the Coweta school system. Gerald and Wanda L. Rice were united in marriage on March 24, 1950 in Coweta, Oklahoma. They moved to Oktaha, Oklahoma in 1956. He worked as a machinist at Acme Engineering in Muskogee, Oklahoma for 28 years until his retirement in 1996. Gerald was in the United States Army. His hobbies included cattle, horses, fishing, and hunting. He will be dearly missed by his family. Gerald is lovingly survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda of the home; one daughter, Wanda Jean Warren of Muskogee, Oklahoma; one brother, Vance Warren of Coweta, Oklahoma; one sister, Joan Concendine of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, and one sister. A graveside service for Gerald will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. David Jones officiating.
